Launch of ‘1298 Women’s Resource Directory’
And 'Bihar Flood Relief  Drive'

Greetings from the Sheriff of  Mumbai.

You will be glad to learn that very recently we have launched two important initiatives for the city of Mumbai. On 28th January, 2008 after assuming the post of the Sheriff of Mumbai the ‘1298’ Women’s Helpline was launched in association with ‘1298 Ambulance Service’ and 75 Women NGO's to help women against sexual harassment and violence. The response to the Helpline prompted us to  launch the Women’s Resource Directory on 9th September, 2008, comprising of all the relevant information of the 75 Women’s NGO's. The Directory is enclosed for your information.
